The Integrated Care Counselor provides brief, evidence-based behavioral health interventions as part of a fully integrated care team within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Working in close collaboration with primary care providers, women’s health specialists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, the counselor addresses common behavioral health concerns—including trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD—through assessment, intervention, and coordinated care planning.
